It helped me a lot with Hiragana and Katakana learning. As a former sign writer and fine artist I love writing Japanese both Hiragana and Katakana have different styles and it is a pleasure to begin writing them. I am missing more dictation practise though, as recalling characters from the top of my head is the hardest part about learning Hiragana and Katakana. But, obviously, it requires application and above all the exercitation in writing Hiragana and Katakana's signs. Really enjoyed this course and I feel like I have picked up hiragana and katakana quite quickly, but of course, need some more practice to recall them quickly. The instructor goes through each row of hiragana and katakana, in a very thorough manner, then covers a wide array of different greetings and sayings that can be used in common conversation.
